Overview

Park Sinchaisri is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Operations Management track. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics-Economics, and his S.M. in Computation for Design and Optimization from MIT. His primary research interests are in the design and analysis of data-driven and human-centric solutions to problems in operations management, currently focusing on the gig economy, interpretable machine learning, and urban analytics.

Prior to joining Wharton, Park worked as a software engineer at Oracle, as a strats analyst at Goldman Sachs, and as a data scientist at Deloitte Consulting. At Penn, he is actively involved with various organizations, from developing marketing strategies for TEDxPenn to advising undergraduate students at Stouffer College House to collaborating with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to improve care for suicidal teenagers. Growing up in Bangkok, Park is a world traveler, avid foodie, and aspiring creative artist.
